We stayed in Miami for two days "staging". They were preparing us to leave for Saint Lucia. We all travelled together and were met by Peace Corps on the island.

After we arrived in Saint Lucia, we stayed at the Pastoral Center for three days. There were 38 of us. They had a nice BBQ party for us at the end of the three days. We were given an orientation and bonded, then everyone went to live on their islands and with their host family. I stayed on this island where there are fourteen of us.
