Andrew Zuckerman - Wisdom

The Wisdom video is linked at the bottom of my blog. Take five minutes and tell me, "What do you think?"

There is so much to ponder, but one quote that sticks out for me is, "You can't get to wonderful without passing alright".

Karen,
Loved the Zuckerman Video, but also loved the tour of your house. Damn everyone on the Zuckerman video is getting old. Aren't you glad we aren't?

I actually laughed out loud looking at your fish too. You must be having a ball.
Keep the comedy coming. Am I a horrible friend because I haven't sent you a treat? When I come to visit I'll bring coffee and trail mix.

By the Way, I'm still waiting to see what the Peace Corp sent you there to do... Looks to me like you have a great gig.

Yes, I agree, it's nice to know there are at least two people that don't look like the geezers on that film. Did you ever feel like you'd be in a position to talk about what "we" are leaving behind.

The fish was a nightmare. Still haven't eaten those little guys.

I see it's one vote for posting my work...

Karen, you are such a WISE(-ass) woman! I loved Andrew Zuckerman's video. I want to take all that wisdom and love and wrap it up in a pretty package and give it to my wonderful 27-year-old daughter. Thank you for sharing it on your blog. You are so generous with this blog. It is a gift to me every time I check it! Are you familiar with the Young at Heart chorus of "experienced persons" from Western Massachusetts? google it- you will be glad you did.
Love,
Lois

...one more thing...I just Googled Andrew Zuckerman and saw him talking with Ellen Degeneress on her show. He isn't even OLD! How did he get so smart? I think his mom must have helped him with this Wisdonm Project.

Lois - this is sooooooooooo how I want to grow old. What a great thing! For those of you who would like to visit the Young at Heart site (well worth your time) go to: http://www.youngatheartchorus.com/

And the zuckerman site is:
http://www.wisdombook.org/

Thanks Lois - this is what blogging is about.

I liked the both sites because it has an underlying theme of why I am living in Saint Lucia - and explains why I joined Peace Corps.

Sharing knowledge and energy with others is how I live a fulfilled life, whether it be Peace Corps, helping out in soup kitchens, opening a door for an older person, or helping the child down the street with homework. For me, it is attitude and the little things in life that count.
