It’s really big. It must weight at least one pound. Ok, maybe not that much, but it’s big. I can hear it when it falls on the floor. It flies too. I don’t know if they fly in

Oh, I'm feeling your pain Caribbean Queen.
Yech!
Flying roaches. You poor thing.
They do have them in California. Marina Del Rey being one of their favorite hot spots.
And they're huge and quick. I hate them!
One night in Acapulco while walking to the post office to drop off a postcard, I kept wondering what was crunching beneath my feet. I thought some kids had dropped some sort of crunchy candy or popcorn. When I reached the light of the post office steps I looked down and saw hundreds of ground cockroaches running everywhere trying to avoid the big, heavy feet of the tourists. I don't know how I made it back to the hotel.
Now in your case, if I were you I couldn't sleep until I caught that helicopter flying insect! So tape, hammer and tack down your bed netting when sleeping.
I feel so bad for you. I hate killing those damn exo-skeleton insects - the crunch is unbearable to hear.
They're like breaking a thin shelled nut with mooshy insides. Blah!
Okay, I'll stop being so detailed.
Hey, call Dean. I'm sure he could manage to get some military guys down there to help you!
Those flight guys are pretty cute - It may be worth the call. I'm just saying...
Hey Barbara, I think I'll stay away from Acapulco! I'm trying to make a deal with my roommate. He can have the kitchen if he stays out of my bedroom. I'm not sure if he's going for it. He's in hiding right now.
This story made me hungry =).
Hungry Rich! Well, I guess they are crunchy - if you can catch him he will be big enough for a complete serving of protein.
all these stories make rick hungry. I don't think he's getting enought to eat @ home
kevin
that story made rick hungry
kevin
Honey - let's just keep this to ourselves, but I think Rich is a little odd.
Karen, Kevin...
You two talkin' bout the same guy? And if so, is his name Rich or Rick?
Or maybe it's Rich Rick.
But then I thought if he were Rich Rick he was probably called that because he was rich. And if he were rich he wouldn't still be hungry. Right?
So if it is one guy, does he use two names so he'll be fed twice as much?...because it's not working. He's still hungry!
aw...
A few weeks after I moved into my place here, I saw a the biggest roach I had even seen on my kitchen wall. I went after it with the broom and that's when I first learned they could fly too. Totally freaked me out. Didn't have up the mosquito net. :(
I feel for ya.
Thanks for the sympathy Shawn!
Never heard about them flying in Marina del Rey, I usually just drive through there anyway; but I have heard of them flying in Hawaii. Keep the net tight that has to be horrible, I hate all insects flying, running all of them..
